Please Note: This animal is listed as a courtesy to another organization. Please be sure to contact the foster/caretaker for more information about him.
At this time Ozzy is not listed with our rescue, but rather friends of our rescue, Northwoods Canine Connection. Ozzy spent his first year and half of his life primarily in the basement of his former owner's house because the owner worked long days and didn't have time for him. He wound up in a shelter in Michigan, and because he was not socialized very well, he had a stressful time with other dogs, noise and activity. A group of caring people worked together to get him to Wisconsin, where he went to stay with the trainer at Northwoods Canine Connection in Chetek Wisconsin.
There he has learned kennel and crate training, socialization with other dogs in both dog socials, pack walks and basic obedience and life skills. He loves, loves. loves people but does have a strong prey drive, so he would do best in a home without small animals like cats and smaller dogs. If you are interested in more information, please reach out to Jana at Northwoods Canine Connection at 715-642-2421 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. More video of Ozzy can be also be found on their Facebook page.
