Mya

Mya's family contacted us to tell her story, adopted from us in fall of 2015 she is thriving. Thank you for giving her an amazing home

Mya originally caught our eye when her foster mom posted a picture with a sign in front of Mya that said "I'm looking for my family, have you seen them?".

Well, she has definitely found her family and is very happy. Mya is by far the most high energy and mischievous dog/Doberman I have ever had, and I've owned Dobermans since 1986. But, while she can sometimes tend to be naughty (sometimes every day), she is also the most loving dog I've ever had. She loves snuggling on the couch with her human family and playing with her furry brother and sister. Her Dobie brother Dash is about 4 1/2 and is a good match for her - they play constantly and chase each other around. Her Golden Retriever sister is almost 11, but Mya loves to play so much that sometimes she can even get her sister to play. We've all fallen in love with her beautiful brown eyes and crazy, uneven, floppy ears!

Layla now known as Abby

Abby's owner had this to say about her little miss:

Abby is red / rust.  Jordy black / rust is from the TN dobe rescue  puppy. Abby has taken Jordy   under her wing and have become great buddies.  Since I have adopted Abby from you in 2013 she has been certified as a therapy dog and visits local college regularly for students and staff. We have also spent time at a senior center with Alzheimer’s residents and been involved with community events as time permits.  Not sure yet what Jordy’s job will be.  He’s very much puppy yet.

Jade

Jade(right) and her brother, Thor(left) were adopted in 2017 and 2018.  To say they love each other is an understatement!  They are both spoiled rotten and love their new king size bed, sometimes allowing their owners to sleep there wink

Isabella or Izzy

Miss puppy Izzy adopted last month, pictured middle, just started doggy day care, her doggie dad shared that she is doing really great and sent a picture of her first day! She sure is a beauty

Iris

We have a one year update on Iris! One year ago on Earth Day 2017, we adopted Iris. She certainly is a special girl that needs special attention. She has improved greatly within the year and she still has a few things that she needs work on, but I think that might be typical for all Dobermans. They’re just special dogs. She loves to go up north and run free, and patrol our fence-line to keep the pedestrians moving along. She’s a very loyal girl and loves to be at our side whenever she can. We are very grateful to have her in our forever-home
